Cozumel boa?

dmac Jul 23, 2008 07:24 PM

So I go on all expense paid for cruise to Cozumel tomorrow (In laws dime.) Brother in law wants to go to the Mayan ruins (8 hour round trip.) What are my chances of spotting a Mexican boa? Should I look in the trees on under rocks? Or should I just slam Coronas on the beach?

Although it would be cool to find a boa in the wild, I think I would relax and sip a few cold ones on a trip like that! Have fun on your journey! Your boas will be waiting for you when you get back!

not that good... lol.. wish I could tell you otherwise!

Was there not too long ago and no dice..

They won't be out in the open or close to public like at the Ruins... you'll see lots of Iguanas, but they're fast too.

You might want to walk the back streets and ask locals if they've seen any and to point them out.

I know they are more active at night.

You'll see the poor road conditions and empty lots which look like dump sites... way too many hiding places...

Best Wishes!
