Is it legal or not to ship harmless live reptiles with Fed Ex?
I shipped some Emoryi ratsnakes to San Diego and just tracked the shipment. It arrived in San Diego and there is a Regulatory Agency Clearance Delay. If it is illegal, do they take the animals or what?
Thanks,
John Lassiter

Fed Ex will not ship live harmless reptiles, but they will ship live animals. I ship fed ex only when I ship my snakes, because they are the most reliable. I just label the box "live fish". I'm not sure if they keep the animals or not if it gets caught.

Read my post above, I had a shipping disaster with them... Read about the Lacey Act!! I'll post the exact law tomorrow. If you mislabel a package, You can be fined $100,000. No kidding,
