INSANE CALICOS and A STORY...

nextworld3 Jul 24, 2008 02:55 PM

We have produced some of the coolest Calicos i have ever seen this year!

In this clutch (Clutch #8) we breed our High White Calico to a female i think proved out in 06. I think she may be a Het Super Stripe or something along those lines. One of the Cinnamon Babies from her in 06 came out very Hypo looking, much cleaner then any other Cinnamon i have ever produced from my line. He is still much lighter then his father.

Heres a pic of the 06 Cinnamon: (We have breed him this year and have eggs, so hopefully he will help tell what going on with mom. If there are normal Cinnamons and Light Cinnamons i will know for sure!)

This is one of the baby Calicos from her this year, i have never produced one that was basically white out of the egg... She is also much cleaner and crisper than any i have produced. There is 2 more that look similar, but i want to see what they look like after they shed.

That Calico is going to be a hard one to beat when it gets older... it already is, but after it colors up - Wow!

I wonder how far the white will continue to creep up the sides on this one?
