Need Advise Female rat has a lump

My female breeder has development a lump between her upper legs. We are not sure what caused this!!! However she is no longer breeding. Hasn't had a batch since April. Would it be safe to feed her off or What????????? Thank you for any and all advise

Oh I thought you didn't want to lose her, haha. I was about to recommend vet but oh well. Um, I would say its okay to feed her off. If she is healthy other than the bump than sure. Oh I feel like a murderer now!

It sounds like a mammary tumor, cancer. Some would say you could feed her off. I personally don't care to. If it is a tumor....probably won't cause a problem to feed her off. If it is a cyst or abscess filled with infection.....do the math.
