lately my snake stays in one corner of the tank and keeps moving all the dirt round until there isnt any and she just rub herself against the glass all the time i was wondering if this meant that there was anything bothering her. also shes 5 months and i was wonderingg if i should upgrade from frzen pinkies to something larger?

My snakes like to push their substrate around - usually to make a pile they can bury themselves in.
Yes - upgrade her to fuzzies.
What are her temps like?

Hello,
my Florida King likes deep substrate. He likes to bury into it.
Also, feed him the fuzzies. They can eat larger prey than you think! Be aware, Florida Kings are eating machines!

could be the temperature in the cage. what kind of heat are you using. my snake always hid under the log when i used a light someone said it causes skin irritations. also how big is your cage because my snake just got a bigger cage and he likes to move around to find the perfect spot and might be restricted if the cage is too small

you should feed your snake larger prey to help him grow. you dont want to feed him water pinkies your snake wont grow much from that. i go and get some good sized fuzzies to last me through the week. my snake will eat one or two and immediately i freeze the rest while their meaty that way i dont have to wait on the store to get them.
