i was just wondering what kind to offer to the collared lizards. i havent offered vegtables sine i first got my first pair, but i feed the crickets veggies, so thought, thqat they were getting the same nutritional value. so what should i offer them. i thought lettuce gave the lizards gas, so i didnt wat to give them that. i guess carrots could work. what about some apple. i had a collared take a liking to an apple one time. he was licking it like it was candy!!!

1.1 firebelly toads
1 baby emperor scorpion (ceasar "caligula" )
( if you know what caligula means you'll get it)
4 dogs (groucho charles bugs Gracie)

I have several herbivore lizards and birds, so I hake a huge salad for all. My salads usually have some to all of the following ingredients:
collared greens
Mustard greens
turnip greens
endive
raddiccio
bok choy
red cabbage
cilantro
parcley
dandelion leaves and flowers
hibiscus
minced cactus
shredded carrots
shredded squash
shredded zuccini
shredded apple
small bird pellets

And more, but I can't think if it all right now.

Notice there really is no iceberg, romane or butter lettice. I don't use the common lettuces as they can cause intestinal issues and don't have as much nutritional value for lizards that the greens that I list do. I also do not feed spinach as it binds with calcium, at least in beardies.

You can get a fresh spring mix or I get the italian blend salad and chop up stuff to add.

thanks for the help!! hmm, ill try some carrots...see my ma has some other kind of lettuce, in the fridge...
