cave dwelling rats???

hello,
i have been into pits for awhile now. i am looking to get into something different. the cave dwelling rats have caught my eye. they are beautifull creatures.
i am looking for feedback from people with personal experience with them. how are they in the feeding department? how is their overall temperment? hardiness? pro? cons?
