I got this sweet guy from Jim Smith at the Birmingham expo last September. He is growing like a weed, and will be a feature male next breeding season. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Yeah, he was definately a nice pick up. Mean as hell, but sweet to look at. Of all my Thayeri I only have him, and one female that don't care to be handled. All the rest are nice.

Thanks Joe. I already know who I'm going to pair him up with. I have a female msp from Michelle that is a cross between an Applegate female, and her now deceased w/c male. Can't wait to see what they produce.

Ken,

He looks great! I'm sorry that he's got an attitude though...He was very shy and reclusive when I had him...He looks like he's on hoppers now or at least 2-3 fuzzies. Did he turn out with a "greenish" hue?

Remember, he was an escapee for several months right after hatching (got out of the incubator) and somehow survived...He was way behind his sibling brother and half sister in size. Perhaps being out on the "lamb" (so to speak) had something to do with his "attitude"...

By the way, are going down to Daytona? It's only a few weeks away now...

Here's a photo of him when I had him in his more reclusive days...He was always difficult to photograph...This was a rare shot of him way back when...

Later,
Jim.

Thanks Jim. Actually he has been on a growth spirt, and is 245g now. He is eating small mice, or rat fuzzies. He was just a little too small to cycle for a breeder last Oct, but feeding him through the winter, and spring he has been growing like a weed, and will definately be a huge part of my breeding program next year.
Unfortunatly I will not be going to Daytona this year. I had planned on it earlier this year, but just can't do it right now. Michelle told me you had a table. That's awesome! Good luck, and let me know how it goes. I think I might try to get a table in Oct in Birmingham. I might share a one with a friend of mine that breeds beardies. Take care.

Ken,

245 grams! That's great news...It will be cool to see any progeny next year...

Bummer regarding Daytona and yes, I'll have a table down there but I do not know the number yet...I sure will let you know how things go down there...It might be a lean year due to the economy (gas prices) unless things change in the next 20 days or so...In any case, I'll send you info on what I observe while I'm down there.

I'm not sure which month (either September or October) I'm going to the Dixie show over in Birmingham but, I know I'm going in December. In November, I'll be at the Columbia Show...

Later,
Jim.

PS: This is another of Serpentdan's progeny...He's a 2005 progeny (08/12/05) and on 06/14/08 he weighed 333 grams...This is a 02/02/08 photo of him.
