bite reflex

found this poor girl fresh DOR. some 8 hours later, it still had the "bite reflex". much rather had found it alive so i could get it off the road and send it on its way. reminder to the kids-- dont pick up freshly dead venomous!!

He/She means eight hours after the snake was found DOR, not eight hours after death.

Right! It's confusing.
The "bite reflex" is someone squeezing at the jaws. Anyone can do that with a dead snake.
The whole post is phony at best.
