Qustion for Jeremy Stone

boldboas Jul 27, 2008 05:59 PM

starting new thread so Mike's motley litter one doesn't get taken over(Great litter Mike)..My question for you Jeremy is you said you bred a salmon jungle motley to a normal with no normals produced so did you get salmons, jungle, and motleys, with no salmon jungles,(for example) etc. All the genes just split up within the one liter?

Kevin,

Like you, I don't want to tread on Mikes Awesome litter post. I was just trying to clarify something I really wanted to see for my own eyes a FEW more times. When Mike and another friend missed on this, I realize it is not just against the odds, but impossible. I have also missed a few times. You can't breed a Hypo Motley to a Motley to get the "red devil".

Now as for the Salmon/jungle/motley Litters, I will post more on the subject later when I can explain the genes. Lets just say that the Hypo jungle Motley works consistant with your "hypo Motley", but throwing the Jungle in there makes some WEIRD looking stuff. I'll post pics later when they bulk up a bit....

I stated my question wrong down in the other thread anyway so I'll correct it here
So Hypo Motley to Hypo I have to know that outcome,Any Hypo Motley?
Plus you'd have to pair a Hypo Motley X A Sunglow just to get Hypo Motley Het Albino true ?

I have seen 2 babies that look like Red Devils from a hypo motley x motley breeding.

can you define "look" like the red devil for me, any pictures? I am really curious about this whole thing because the red devil is on my "I must produce one someday list"
