so, I got myself a gorgeous female ATB in the spring(she's yellow and orange banded with black-blue speckling, lovely, sorry, no pics) I'd like to breed her to my garden phase(but also pretty)male. both are about 5 ish feet, and beautiful, if I havn't mentioned it yet. Right now the female is in a 20 gal tall, and the male is in a 18"x18"x36" sccreen cage. Humidity is at 70 or 80 (whatever virginia normally is in summer) and temps are 75 to 90, depending in the weather(my reptile room has all five windows open, cause I don't use Air Conditioner anyway. I havn't been turning on extra heat for them because its warm enough that they don't use it anyway. So, when, if at all, do I change temps, humidity and feeding? Where they're from(south Americe) there's not much differnce in seasons except that there's a rany season, right? I'm kinda confused about hoow ATBs are cycled for breeding. Also, during what part of the cycle should they be together? Thanks in advanced. My ATBs are beautiful.

For breeding I fluctuate the season by the amount of misting that is done. It really doesnt usually take too much to get them going, and I have had breedings happen all different times of the year actually.

I would still read whatever Mike puts together because he has a lot of experience with them and has probably noted much more than I have.

One word of advice though is to always make sure your female (when pregnant) has room to thermoregulate between upper 70's to 90F. For most the year, the snakes don't want anything to do with 90 degrees. But when she is pregnant, she will use it...and need it!
