need help with calcium/vitamins

trex8692 Jul 28, 2008 09:35 PM

earlier i was graciously helped by a member who pointed out to me that MINERALL I by sticky tongue farms is very good because it has a small amount of vit. d3.

i will definitely keep this in mind, but i need more opinions.

what do you guys recommend i use? d3 or not? what product should i use for calcium and what about vitamins?

p.s. as a side note i heard that excess d3 leads to horrible tissue damage, but on the flip-side, d3 helps the animal absorb calcium..

I use Sticky Tongue Mineral-All which has d3 in it and a calcium powder without d3. I mix a bit of both together for dusting and use the calcium without d3 alone in a dish for them to have when they feel they need extra calcium.
