Well, i have 3 dragons. 1 male, 2 females, as soem know. I have since seperated the two females cage to make 2 cages, and the male still has his large cage. Ralph (the male) has been eating about every other day, eats a few bites of his salad too. He has no parasites (negative fecal) but he just looks bored. He baskes about halfway, looks pretty fat, jsut a little lazy, probably bored, as i have not been able to take them out near as much because of new pets (baby red eared sliders, leo, timneh grey parrot) but i still interact with him quite a bit.
Then i have my large female, named cheech. She is about, ooh lets say 19 months, pretty old, never been bred. She is basking everyday, and just shed, and has a great appetite, but sometimes she ignores food, as if she doesnt see it, but later i see her trying to get a cricket so voraciosuly that i know she is hungry, and she confuses me. She does not look like she has gained the least bit of weight, and im tryin to fatten her up to breed, but she wont budge her weight, it looks like. She is basking fine.
My smaller female, i bought as a subadult, and she was raised on superworms, and now only takes a few crickets, but lots of supers. She eats a few salad bites a day too, im trying to wean her off supers, and im getting a a little progress. She is really fat, making me think she was eggbound for a while. I brought her to the vet, but no avail, she apparently was just fat, so the vet said. She hasnt been eating much lately either, also with a negative fecal. Its very confusing, as she was an avid eater. She doesnt bask as much, anymore, after i seperated the females (they were streessing each other it seemed). She just hides under her cow head all day.
Well, i was just wondering what i can do and how i cna make them gain weight, start eating, anyway, thanks guys
