These would be my best average temps for HATCHLINGS.
I would say it is best to give them a range to choose from even as hatchlings if possible. It depends on the species but somewhere from the mid 70's on the cool side to 83 or 84 on the warm side. If you must keep the area all the same temp(once again it differs on different species)I would aim for a general temp of around 77 to 82 or so with a drop at night. Like I said these temps really cant be considered very accurate without specific species in mind. Feel free to e-mail me with specifics and I might be able to nail it down to what temps I keep that same species at at hatchling age.

PS One more thing that might be helpful is that most people tend to incubate around 80 these days so that temp is a good starting point for the first couple of days out of the egg.
