Bookcase Conversion

bakeaway Jul 29, 2008 07:52 PM

ok..i have bought racks and cages and now wanna try converting something into a cage.
I have a 3 shelve bookcase from Ikea made of particleboard.
Could that be used?
Was thinking of putting acrylic fronts, ultrtherm pads for heat.
Has anyone tried this or is particle board not right for that?
Thanks,

David

Particle board is actually good for that application of heating the shelf directly. Better than heating pine board or even plywood.
