Very cautious once on the grass. I have a feeling my WC spilotes would be in hyperdrive. I'll have to take him outside when he sheds.

Very nice. The pictures remind me of a coachwhip moving through the grass with his head up like that.

i've always thought of them as 'arboreal coachwhips'. they are so racer like i suspect they are almost certainly related to the coluber/drymarchon genus.
