ARB in a tree

Yeah, forum is kind of slow lately, so here are some pics I took of Mendoza climbing a tree for the first time. (Well, he sort of just hung out, didn't do much climbing.)

I like how his colors really complement those of the tree; he could blend in well enough (if he was hanging out and not slithering around) that someone might not immediately notice him. Then when the mailman saunters by...key dramatic "Jaws" style music...

...or some of those chirpy little *^&*$%& that wake you up too early in the morning. (Yeah, sometimes I'm not such a big fan of birds...) They're probably a meal he'd be more successful at actually eating.

Yeah, it would be interesting to see a BRB actually strike at prey in the wild. I saw a mouse run across our front yard yesterday and I know both Loki and our cats would have loved to nab him (but I wouldn't want them to be exposed to any diseases he might carry).
