H.R. 6311 has been introduced...

CSRAJim Jul 30, 2008 03:37 PM

All,

On June 19, 2008, representative Bordallo (Guam) introduced the "Nonnative Wildlife Invasion Prevention Act" into the US House of Representatives...The co-sponsors of this bill are Hastings, Abercrombie, Kildee and Klein who are ALL from Florida (along with two others)! Does the word "FLORIDA" ring a bell with anyone here?

Can you say ROC and not to mention the two "info-mercials" that I've seen on the National Geographic Channel in the last few months or so (the most recent one was "Giant Snakes"-really)...And then there is the "data" that is being reported in the latest National Geographic "Info-mercial" citing the USGS...The USGS???

Type "H.R. 6311" on your search engine to read the full contents of the Bill...You need to read it.

Later,
Jim.

NM is run by "progressives". They call themselves that because they don't like the term "liberal" or "leftist" or more accurately, socialist/communist. I said it a long time ago when the seat belt laws were introduced. It's was the begining of the end of our freedoms in this country. Now in Albuquerque NM you can't smoke in bars, talk on a cell phone while driving, have a dog or cat without getting it spayed/neutered and have a chip implanted, ride a bike/skateboard/scooter without a helmet, own ANY exotic animal without an exotic animal permit, I could go on and on and on........ These are ALREADY laws that are on the books and being enforced here. It took ONE, just one, herp show here and the animal control folks ENDED herp shows here in NM. Most bars are on the brink of closing down and most if not all of the local bands/muscians can't find work.

Note that the sponser of the bill HR 6311 and everyone of the co-sponsers has a D in front of their name. They believe that they know better than all of us and they will ram their nanny state ideas down our neck whether we like it or not. Keep on voting for them folks. The democrats have all the answers... Just like Nancy Pelosi said yesterday..... "I'm trying to save the planet".
I'm not saying that Republicans are all that great either as a matter of fact most of them are idiots too. It's amazing though that the Democrats make them look like geniuses. Most congress persons in both parties are driven by greed. Thats bad enough but with ALL of the leadership of the Democrats its also driven by pure unadulterated POWER.

Chris,

Agreed man and I couldn't have said it better myself. Over here, "they" do make attempts to shove their agenda down our throats but, we do have victories as well. Voters over here have to produce a photo ID to vote. This was not easy by any means and it took years to overcome all of the court challenges by the "DOT.ORG's" and "other groups" but the bootom line is that this makes it very difficult for dead people to vote...

Sadly, the gradual decline becomes more prevalent every day by either apathy, ignorance and the lack of diligence by some of us (by deliberate intent by others)...Our Republic is slowlying dying a piece at a time and as each piece goes away, so does a piece of our freedom...

Other than Bordallo (D-Guam), here's a cursory breakdown of the representatives that are co-sponsors to H.R. 6311...

Neil Abercrombie (D-Hawaii) member of the House Natural Resources Committe and Fisheries, Wildlife and Oceans Subcommittee.

Alcee Hastings (D-Florida) current senior Democratic whip, former federal judge (appointed by President Carter), and former civil rights activist.

Dale Kildee (D-Michigan) member of the House Committee on Natural Resources and member of the National Parks, Forest and Public Lands and Fisheries, Wildlife and Oceans Subcommittees.

Ron Kind (D-Wisconsin) co-chair of the "New Democrat Coalition"

Ron Klein (D-Florida) not much...

Betty McCollum (D-Minnesota) from her own biography on her U.S. House of Representatives webpage..."working to defend workers' rights and civil liberties at home, while ensuring human rights are protected around the world."

just to pi$$ them (the politicians) off. In all seriousness though I don't smoke (except for an occasional cigar) I don't skateboard and I don't like cell phones (I call them an electronic leash). They are all legal products though. And most of these laws are not well enforced.

I wish these do gooder gummint types would mind their own business. It a well known fact that fees, fines, licences, and taxes are the grease that oil the politicians machinery.

BTW I have lots of LE (law enforcement) freinds. There's a vast difference between LE and politicians.
