I'm so excited to announce an addition to my lizardy family! Poor little feller has no name yet, but he's cute enough to get by without one for a while. He's one of the proud sons of Snicket and Hoboken (thank you, Valerie!!), and he makes my little heart lurch. Someday he'll be Rorschach's roomie, but for now he's in digs of his own. Apologies for the crappy pictures, but I don't seem to take any other kind. If you remember a post a while back from the4thmonkey with a little upside down baby climbing out of his shell...well, that's him, too. And a MUCH better picture it is!

He looks very happy sitting there on your hand and I'm sure he will really enjoy the upgrade in his digs! I'm so glad he arrived safely. Shipping is the worst part of raising babies. Congratulations, Torey, and I hope he fits in well with your family and (eventually) Rory.

It's internet slang - specifically online gaming slang (wow - loot!), though it's caught on elsewhere, too. Basically a "yeehaw!" or "huzzah!" Technically it's spelled with zeroes: w00t!

Oh, yeah - he has a name now! The little bugger keeps trying to base jump off of things, so his name is Ripcord. Plus his cute little tail looks like woven nylon cord.

Congratulations Torey, he is adorable and I'm sure Rory will be batting her eyes at him in a few more months, hehehhee.

That Hoboken and Snicket make some stunning little kids! Valeries a pretty GREAT lizard Mom as well. Best wishes with him, he sure got a great home.
