idk that mutch about corn snakes so this might sounds stupid but what do you breed to get a candycane corn snake?

I believe its a phenotype red and grey normal Albino meaning not a morph but selective breed red and grey, but the CC is Amelanistic (Albino) which is Recessive and cancels out melanin turning the grey to white so
Its a RED and WHITE albino corn not necessarilly a morph except being albino IMHO have a happy, Chris

I think most candy canes are miami influenced (or just plain amel miami)

candy canes are selective bred amelanistic corns.
amelanism removes melanin (black) resulting in brighter colors and red eyes.
Amelanistic Miami's seem to be the "building" stock for the best candy canes. Miami's already have nice clean, light backgrounds with contrasting saddles so when you get amel miamis that translates into good white backgrounds and rich saddles..BUT to get the best contrast between the saddles and backgrounds the best looking specimens from each clutch are bred together or back to the parents to enhance or recreate the desired look.
all candy canes are amelanistic but not all amels are candy canes.
AND just because you breed two candy canes together that does not mean all the amel offspring will classify as candy canes.
I hope this made sense...
