Very cool. I need to work on the decorating of my cages a bit. I was doing so many displays, through the Chicago Herp Society and stuff my work puts on, that it becomes a pain to move all the time.

Now that I am drastically reducing the amount I do, I might have a chance to get things looking as slick (or close) to yours.

You have a great diverse collection. I've only been posting from my favorite room (SoLA) because like you...we don't want to overload the site.

Again...I love your set ups, and I hope you don't mind if I steal a few ideas.

Thanks and no problem...over the years I have found it alot more pleasurable keeping somewhat naturalistic displays rather than plain and simple..it is alot more work keeping clean and maintaining sterile conditions, but the overall effect outweighs the work IMO...if your gonna keep something, then enjoy it I say..too many times over the years I have gotten caught up in the plain jane sterile enclosures just for ease of maintaining and have found I lost alot of the "sit and watch" part of keeping and ran things like a factory and assembly line...now days I spend more time just sitting and observing/thus enjoying my snakes and such.

amazing and beautiful.
I hope its a dwarf caiman though....
do you have any mold problems in the room with, what I assume, must be pretty high humidity?

DIESELMACK Aug 01, 2008 08:59 PM

yes its a palp, and no humidity problems..have 2 dehumidifiers running that take care of the room humidity but doesnt affect any of the enclosures humidity levels.
