Yellow Bellies Or Just Pretty Nornals?

luvmyhydra Jul 31, 2008 12:21 AM

I have a 1.0 BP that I had purchased as a regular but as he got bigger I noticed tiny flmaes on his side. I looked up Yellow Belly BP's and saw they could have small flames up to large. I just want your opinion on Hydra if you think he is normal or YB. He needs to fatten up again so ignore him not being the biggest boy he was on a feeding strike so he lost a little weight. I am including some side views, a head shot, and belly shot. His head is what gets me, he has a light head then even a lighter spot on top of that. Before his head was nearly black when I got him. He has definately changed since he was 4 weeks old! In the 2nd pic look at the far right hand side, he has a patch of white coming up as well? I am not sure how to take my little guy. If he is normal he sure is a pretty one In the 3rd picture you can see at the end of his tail the dirty yellow look. 4th picture is his head, where you can see the two different colors on top of it.

In a reply I will put pics of my other BP who may or may not be one (she has flames as well)

Here's my .1 , I am going to be picking her up in a few days. She is said to be reduced pattern but her belly and flames and light head just really stand out to me.
