I opened my mouth and out flowed a melody black.
Based on our experience, hatchlings usually take about 24 hours to emerge from their eggs after pipping. It really depends on the animal and how much yolk they have left to absorb at the time they pip. We have had some that don't emerge for two or three days. Most are out the day after they pip though. Thanks!
