heres a little tip. Make sure that you keep a copy of ALL your paperwork, including the legal contract and the box approval. Also, make sure that your rep has entered on your account that you can ship snakes. My rep failed to do so and it took 3 weeks (and getting a new rep) to get the situation fixed. I had a package refussed twice and lost the three weeks of business because of my first Fep's little mistake.
Congrats and good luck. FedEx is an "experience" to work with. lol

is because FedEx has been known to totally lose all of a customer's paperwork on a few occasions. In those cases, the customer had to start all over again and get a new box tested, etc. That is, UNLESS the customer had copies of everything so they could send copies to FedEx, and then they were good to go.

Thank you! I didn't actually any paperwork but,my results were e-mailed to me.I'll have to copy it I guess. Jeff

also print out a hard copy or two, in case your computer crashes! I also keep a copy with me in case some new person at the desk suddenly knows nothing about it and doesn't want to accept my packages. Better safe than sorry!

Sweet!

Are shipping prices any more or less for certified shippers? Also, I'm assuming the shipping price is higher when transporting perishable goods. Is this true?

Tim

They tell me i get a better price ,but 2 days ago a 2lb box over nite to Me. from Fla cost $72

tspuckler Aug 02, 2008 07:36 AM

I was afraid of that. Who's going to buy a $35 snake if it costs more than double that to ship it?
