so heres the thing i just got an adult female het for albino ball python(idk how much she weighs)but she is atleast 2 times biger than my male that i have had for 7 years. now i know she has never lade eggs befor because i got her from a good friend of mine but what i dont know is if they have tryed to breed her befor(i was not going to breed her for another year or so)but just today i walked into the room and i saw her laying on her back(as if she is gravid) can that mean any thing els or can i be pretty sure that she is gravid? oh and i have fed her just the day befor i saw her on her back!?!? was she doing this because she just ate a big rat?

Yes,they will do that if they've eaten a large meal..and,most females go off feed when gravid.

ya i thought it was wierd that she was still eating but i have never bred any snake befor so i was not sure. thanks for the reply =)
