I have to bring my box turtles in the house throughout the week to get their live food, because of my pen being open fencing. I feed them in a 55 gallon tank set up in the front of the house. I put the female ornate in a 5 gallon bucket to change the newspaper in the tank, and when I turned around, she was gone! I had a Florida box turtle running around the house for a short time last year, so I didn't worry. After about an hour, I heard the possum and the boxer growling, and I went to investigate. It was the female ornate! I guess they didn't want her to move around while they played with her. The boxer came up to me, and the possum layed on top of the ornate, then got off and growled again when she started to move. I took the toy(box turtle) away and put her out in the pen after making sure she was unharmed. I guess the dog and the possum kind of liked her, they're in the room right now still looking for her.
