I can't believe it!

Tomorrow will be 60 days since my ghost had her clutch. Thursday (yesterday) when I went to check the temps and etc, there was this beautiful, tiny little perfect (in my eyes, anyway) ghost corn. These are the eggs that were laid in the water dish and this particular egg was one I really didn't expect to hatch. Nothing else has happened since yesterdy morning, this one ws on the bottom, so maybe it was warmer??
I will try to post my poor photography later, lol.

Thanks!! She or he is crazy active and very friendly. Very hard to leave him alone, don't want to stress him out, but then he gets hidden real good and I get paranoid that he escaped, lol. Very inquisative little thing, doesn't flinch when my hand gets close, actually crawled right out on my hand!

Big question is, do I over him food now or freeze the pinks before they get too big and wait until the first shed.

Thanks for the advice. I can't find my Kathy Love book anywhere. OOh, I have to call her, I got the Daddy from her!

Wait until after it sheds before offering food and use a small pinky. I personally wouldnt be handling it much either but thats my opinion. It may stress it just enough to make it not want to eat.

It doesn't hurt to offer food right away, but it doesn't hurt to wait either. Some will eat a pinky before they shed. Brief handling is ok too. Or handle them while they eat!

These pics are from my first clutch in 2004.

I tried to download the pics, but my images are too big. I'll try to get some at a lower resolution.

...in paint. Just goto the image drop down menu and select stretch/skew. There choose a width/heighth percentages to reduce it down to. Then check the actual size by going to the image drop down menu and selecting atributes.

Good luck,

Sean.
