Outdoor photo

Got back from vacation to find that Dexter had shed. I've been trying off and on to get a good outdoor shot of him so I tried again today. I think this one's pretty good at showing his colors.

Thanks Bluerosy! I sure do love that snake.

I went back and checked, and this particular photo shoot consisted of 23 photos to get a couple good ones. But I am guessing when it comes to living, moving animals, that's probably about right.

Here is the other one I like from the bunch. Not as much as the other, but close...

Man,That's a beautiful snake and a nice pic also!!I laughed when I first saw it tho, because the position of his head tells me he is probably doing the "rooting"thing. My corns do that alot! Jeff

My wife was kind of managing him outside while I was trying to take pictures. But yeah, the moment she put him down, he was looking for a place to go underground! She couldn't stop him. Most of the pictures are of his head underneath some grass. He's probably thinking, 'uh, hey, remember the whole No Eyelids thing??'

My Brooks is so good at it, I can't even take him in the backyard anymore. The grass is longer back there and he disappears in seconds if not watching closely.

Yeah I get really nervous taking them outside by myself. I can see myself fiddling with the camera, changing a setting or something, then looking up and not finding a snake!
