White Motley Boa!

boaphile Aug 02, 2008 05:25 PM

Does anyone remember that freaky whitish Motley like Boa that someone posted about two years ago? It had a connected pattern very much like a Motley Boa but a little less thick looking. Like something between a Roswell (Het) and a Motley.

Does anyone else remember that little critter? The fellow posted in and nothing else. I beleive he spoke Spanish and or not very much English. It appeared, then was gone. We never ever heard anything about it after that single post long ago.

It had a pattern like the front half of the Boa below.

That same kind of connected pattern all the way down with zero downward reaching "saddle points". Plus that one was as nearly white as any Boa I have ever seen. It was really something!

Has anyone heard anything about it since?

Interesting look to that one.......whats the story behind it? I like how the eye stripes connect right into the neck patterning. Cool head for sure.....the rest is ..........eh....so so.........not.......awesome snake Jeff!

The one pictured has nothing to do with the animal I am asking about Jared. The one I pictured is a Jungle, I think, and it is het for Blood for sure. Her Mother is a Bloody Salmon. She was born in my first litter this year.

No ..but I remember this one from a few years ago..

boaphile Aug 02, 2008 08:09 PM

That one was from last year I beleive. Have you seen it lately? I'd love to see it now!

The other one I'm asking about wasn't a Motley. That's just the closest thing I can think of that it looked like.

Don't want to sound like I know anything or that I'm Dick Tracy BUT!!! This boa looks like it's getting ready to shed in 2 or 3 days?? The loose skin around the neck and mouth area kinda give that away? Looks like the eyes are just starting to clear up from being capped, like around the peak time of any boas shed cycle. Then 2 or 3 days later they have new fresh skin to,
slither around in !! I'm probably wrong but who knows.... right? Just bored and had 2 cents!!

That Jungle? 100% het for Blood you have looks better Jeff!!

Better call in the HARDLY BOYS LOL LOL

i remember the post from last year where someone else asked about this same boa. it is a beautiful animal and those blue eyes are killer. i think that you told him in the original post to hold onto him, i hope he took your advice and he breeds it soon.

NCBoas Aug 03, 2008 10:07 PM

I remember it too.. Saw it on a different forum though. That was definitely a cool looking boa.

LarM Aug 03, 2008 10:55 PM

I think you should have talked the guy into selling that to you Jeff. That News Paper is written in Spanish isn't it. So this Boa must probably be some where close to or South of the border. If he were to sell it for $10,000 -$15,000 he could live very comfortable life for a while South of the border I believe. Something unique happening there. I never got to see the original post wasn't online during that period. Those eyes really do appear blue and such a fair base color.

One of the ads has the word "closets" in there which is English. You see a lot of English words creeping into Spanish here in the States. Could be CA, FL or TX easily.
Good thinking though, Lar!

You know Aaron right after I hit post. It occurred to me that there are probably many news Papers in the states being printed in Spanish or partial Spanish.
Probably some right in my area in Northern IL., here. Its just a thought though,LOL

I got clever and started reading the articles in the paper that were legible....got to Googling and it appears that they are in or in the vacinity of Chiapas, Mexico.

Hope we get to see another one of them one day........

If you look at the phone numbers in the ads they are printed differently than here in america. 000-00-00

That looks like a BEAUTIFUL CA Motley.

Jeremy Stone Aug 05, 2008 02:05 PM

To me this looks like a Jungle Boa. Nothing even close to Motley in head, tail and color. Just my 2 cents. Nice snake though.
