After worrying for a few days about his appetite I took Zeffer to the vet today. The vet checked his fecal matter and gave him a physical examination. The fecal came back negative which made me happy. She said he looked really healthy and looked like I took good care of him.
So looks like I was needlessly worrying. Thanks to everyone who responded and tried to help out this first time BD owner.
