Hey Tosha, have you bred paisley yet? That looks like a genetic granite.

toshamc Aug 03, 2008 04:02 PM

The paisley was imported as a juvie in 06 and it took her some time getting acclimated. I didn't feel she was ready to put into my program for this year but just to see if she would be receptive to breeding I pair her with a male once and she locked up readily -- I think she'll be good to go this season -- so we will see how genetic she is.

Now if I can only figure out what to put her with? LOL

I would bet money she is a genetic granite of some sort. Good luck with her!

I like the 1st one...could somebody get this for me?

What's the max. size for Angolans? Are the temp. requirements similar to Balls?

Angolans I think pretty much max out at around 6 feet for big females - I think 5-6 is standard -- but don't quote me on that -- I am sure just like balls there are some that get much bigger and some that stay a little smaller. My male is 5 years old and about 4 ish feet long. I keep mine the same as the balls and they seem to do well.

Tosha, those are great pics. I'm intriqued by the CH . . . .great pattern! What are your plans for it?

Thanks Alice -- She was just one of them impulse buys. Right now my only plan is to get her feeding well and up to size -- I figure anything I plan now will have changed a few dozen times in the next couple of years anyways.
