07 hypo lavender motleys

blichtenhan Aug 03, 2008 10:24 PM

While I had my camera out, I took some pics of my hypo lavender mots from last year. The male is really starting to get colorful, and I really like his head pattern, and the females are growing but not getting as much color as the male, which seems to be the norm with these lavender motleys in general. Thanks for looking, Brad Lichtenhan
(The females are the first 2 pics, the male is the 3rd.)

Those are beautiful!

Producing those is actually one of my more important goals - though it will take a few generations (I have a lavender motley male and several hypo het lav females)

Anywhoo - thanks for sharing the pics!

My hope is to add the blood red gene in to them next, all though it may end up that the plasma motley is a better looking snake than the hypo plasma motley. We will see, Brad

That's a nice looking animal. Have you started the Plasma Motley project yet? I should have some next year.

be a motley lavender ghost.I had 2 light and 2 dark hatch and I am pretty sure the lights are gosts and the darks are just lavender anerys.I am not really sure but here is one of the lighter ones.Cool reduced side pattern also.

I just hatched what should be all hypolavenders also but like the results above I have light ones and dark ones in the clutch.I haven't sexed them yet but I remember people saying usually the males are light.
