Breeding Question...please advise...

SnakeStar Aug 04, 2008 10:29 AM

My gravid female boa is about one month overdue. She has always had litters on time before. She is definitely gravid (well I'm as sure as i can be) as she is as big as i would expect her to be at this stage in the pregnancy but I'm getting quite worried about her now. Will the babies survive? Has anyone had this problem before with there snakes? Thanks for any advise given.

your due date may be off if she had a 2nd ovulation (later) that you may have missed. It seems that this has happens to people each year. I couldn't imagine a Boa (or any animal) going 30 days overdue without showing some serious problems by now. ---- I could be wrong though .
