So a while back I posted about a Garter I found in the back yard that had some unusual coloration on her underside. Finally I'm getting around to posting pics.

So the other day when I was doing some work in the snake room, I noticed something wriggling around in the tub I have her in. When I opened it I quickly realized that not only was this snake a female, she'd been pregnant and had given birth to her babies the night before!!! I was so excited, I was like a little kid at Christmas. Anyway here are some pics of the "kids". They're not the greatest, they were taken with my cell phone.

She had 18 babies and 2 stillborn. So now I have a few questions. What's the best way to start these suckers out? I've read that feeder guppies and such are good as are worms (the small baitshop kind), but man these guys are pretty small so I was wondering what you all used to feed your babies when they first come out? Oh and they've already finished shedding.
Thanks,
Dan
