The male

And the female.
Please excuse the "quicky" backyard photos!

WOW, The male is nice, but I really like that female!!
Here is one of my Christmas animals..

Mike,
Is that a female or male Christmas Mtn. specimen you posted? Captive bred or wild caught? I have an adult female Christmas Mtn. that looks exactly like yours! And I mean all the way down to the tiny details such as the "washed out" orange bands. I will try and post a pic tonight. I'm curious as your animal's background and geneology.
Brooks
The female in my last post was produced by a good friend of mine here in NY.. My friend purchased his original pair of Christmas animals several years ago from Gerry Salmon.. But, those animals were produced Craig Hodgson. Gerry confirmed this lineage and he told me this line originated from Ray Queen stock..
I am looking forward to seeing pix of your animal.

Nice female Mike!
Here's the Christmas Mtn. female. It's not the best photo of her, but it gives you a good comparison between the two.
They are very similar! Do you have any history on yours?

Nice - did you produce the female?
I posted before reading your reply to Shannon. I need those genetics back!!! Congrats...
Hi Andrew, how are you?
Yes, she's one of yours. I took my time raising her. She certainly could've gone last yr, but I held back and bred her for the first time this yr.
I sold off the majority of my alterna collection, only keeping 1.2 Christmas Mt animals.
I'm going to start introducing some lizards into their diets in hopes of improving fertlity. She gave me five eggs this yr but four looked bad from the start, and they were.
If I have better fertility next yr, I will certainly let you know. Do you not have any of her genes anymore?
Cheers, Bill
I didn't hold back animals like I should have. Snakes aged and wern't replaced. I may have a Xmas clutch next year, but I'd like to get more. please keep me posted...
Thanks,
Andrew
