They are great i have 2 dwarf fischer chameleons they are 5 months old, they are preety easy to care for. I always study them online theres a few websites that have care sheets and info if you need the website addresses let me know?

If you read the text in LLL's descriptions, it does not say "captive bred", and usually they will say that if they are. Most likely, these are imports. You will need to check with them as to what parasite treatment was administered, and when - we have had to repeat such treatments with some wc chams.

Here is a page with info on B. fischeri:
B.fischeri

Best of luck.

Almost all fischeri are imports. Kammerflage Kreations has been producing some cbb in the last couple of years, but any others are most likely wc. There is some good care info on their website (www.calumma.com) and on www.adcham.com. Be prepared to deal with parasites (even if the seller claims to have treated them they usually need repeated treatment). WCs will be more easily stressed and may be quite shy. They are very active and mostly dense foliage lovers so make sure you really fill a very large cage with plants. For their size they are cage hogs, so bigger is better. If you have trouble finding your cham in the leaves it is about right. They prefer cooler more humid cages so you will need to look into ultrasonic humidifiers for the cage, lots of misting, avoid high temps, and keep the cage really clean to avoid molds and bacteria. They enjoy hunting flying insects such as moths and houseflies.

I had the joy of owning these special little chams*, but I can tell you from experience,I went through hell for them, because they are one of the hardest chams to own, they are so small,so delicate, it takes them time to fully trust you,you must be careful they get all the UVB they need, you must be very careful they never get food too big for them to eat!,I suffered losing my female, when she choked on a waxworm in her viv overnight, then if that was not bad enough my male who was so strong and healthy, went down hill, he could not walk one day, & then stopped eating, I gave him hydrolife, took him to vets, they gave me Baytril, but one day as I cuddled him in my hand, he passed away, it broke my heart,my little Murphy kissed me with his tounge calmly sat on my finger, he loved being loved, yes I would say they are very affectionate & I never regret the day I bought them, I loved them dearly, but I know they are very delicate pets, you must monitor their everything!,cant afford to make any mistakes!.
Now I know how hard Chams can be to own, I must be mad with my recent thoughts!!!,you see I held a beautiful gravid female veild, and she brought back sweet memories of my own chams, this female loved me stroking her and her colours went brighter & brighter, it got to the point were she would not let go of me!!!, it took me a while to get her off my jumper she was cuddling into!, I must admit Im seriously tempted to buy her, but sadly she too cant move her back legs!!!, the difference is, she will eat!I dont know if Im doing the right thing getting another Cham, but we really have bonded!!!
Does anyone think I should have this Cham, she seems stronger than my Fischers???
