Nature Zone Bearded Dragon Bites

teaspoon Aug 05, 2008 08:47 AM

I bought some of Nature Zone's Bearded Dragon Bites for my beardeds. I think they prefer salad, but they ate all of it. I only bought a little baggie of it to see if they'd like it. I'd like to buy it in gallon size to make feeding easier, do you think its healthy enough to make it a bigger part of they're diet? I'd probably mix it with their salad.
The package says it has 9% protein, 2út,7%fiber, and 78% moisture. Let me know what you think, thought I'd get a second opinion befor i buy it in bulk!

Probably the same reason it shows up as a little square with FD written in it.

* 2t * is how it looks on my screen in your original post. Been noticing that strange symbol showing up in the odd posts for awhile. Not sure why and its not consistent enough for me to think its an issue with Fire Fox 3. I see it in some forum posts, some emails, a few different forums...just not consistant enough for me to pin down as to the actual cause. Always seems to replace an apostrophe.

I think you're going to have to make your own decision. I know of no long term tests on packaged foods for reptiles so I'm skeptical and don't use any of them.

I use Nature Zone Bearded Dragon bites for all of my bearded dragons...always have....always will. I put it on their salads. My dragons love it. I mix all kinds of bites from Nature with the bearded dragon bites, Box Turtle Bites, Iguana Bites.... Each dragon has there own favorite flavor! I believe the bearded dragon bites give proper nutrition to those picky eaters.

I would supplement with it and use it like treats or a salad topper . I would not make it a staple or replace any live feeders or fresh salad with it.

Thank-you everyone for your replies, I'll go ahead and use it to mix with salads.
