Azrael

DarkFaery8 Aug 05, 2008 01:52 PM

I finally got decent pics of my male albino, Azrael. He is such a sweety pie but he will not sit still for pics! Anyway, the first pic is blurry but it shows his colors very well. The rest of them are as clear as can be. He has lots of red/orange spots between his saddles, they almost look like freckles, lol. They are only too obvious in the pics but they actually blend in better and look pretty, in my opinion. Here he is!

Thanks for looking and comments are appreciated!

Wow Azrael (name of an Angel) beautiful Albino Boa. Did he come from a known Coral line?
He is coloring up in a similar way it would appear. Nice Albino.

Not that I know of. I got him from a ball python breeder who had done a trade with a friend of hers, but I never found out who. I am very glad with the way he is coloring up though! And yeah, Azrael is the angel of death. I actually got it from the movie Dogma. I like it cause I call him Az or Azzy for short, lol. Thanks for the compliment!

Azrael from Arabic name Azra'il or Azra'eil ( عزرایل ) is the archangel of death
and Azazel(Sayan) (Aramaic: רמשנאל, Hebrew: עזאזל, Aze'ezel Arabic: عزازل Azazil)
used interchangeably with Rameel and Gadriel from Hebrew also translate to "Angel of Death".
Most of these names come from the Hebrew Tanakh(Torah, Nevi'im , Ketuvim ) and the Arabic Qur'an .
I think they make cool names for Boas.

Wow, you know quite a bit about that stuff. I'm not religious at all but I do like some of the names. I'll have to take updated pics of my snow female, Jezebeth.

Thanks,
Jessica

I have done some research into Angels. For me Its not only the religious aspects but also the Super natural idea. Even though I was raised Catholic, LOL I can't say I follow the Dogmata really completely. I've often wondered how man kind could come up with all this info on the Angels, Names, Languages , symbols. The Angels that stayed in heaven and those that were thrown out it can be fascinating stuff.
Please take some updated pics of your Snow fem. I'd love to see them.

It sounds interesting. I'm into mythology myself so that's not too different. I'll probably take photos of Jez in the next couple days. Maybe today if I get some time
