Playing Around with some pics..

ExecutiveReptiles Aug 05, 2008 11:00 PM

Cleaning out some enclosures tonight and anxiously waiting for our first clutch of Ball Python eggs to hatch....So I thought I would snap a couple of pics of some of the Co-Dom and one Dom morphs....Just mainly playing around....and thought I would share some pics...

My Personal Favorite of the bunch.....Our little PinStripe...

Satin Black "Pastel" compaired to a Cinnamon "Pastel".....Still havn't heard a definate conclusion if pairing these two will produce a normal faced Super....(Not Duckbilled)..Some people say it will......some people say you can't avoid it no matter what you pair up...I purposely got a BHB Cinnamon and a VPI Satin Black in hopes that the Super would have a normal face...Anyone know for sure?

And last but not least...our little fussy Mojo....he was a stuborn feeder for quite a while....I hope to someday soon find him a pretty Lesser female...maybe that will make him feel better....lol

We got her from Ryan Young, he picked this one out for us, and I am very please with which one he picked for us. VPI Satin Blacks are some of the blackest Black Pastels I have seen in person, they seem to be very high contrast as well....

Here are a couple of other crappy pics of her....

Very nice David and Amanda. I really like the contrast shot of the cinny and bp. Thats cool.

ExecutiveReptiles Aug 06, 2008 10:22 AM

I liked how different they where, and thought I would share how different BHB Cinnamons where from VPI Satin Blacks where. The Cinnamon is nice and light brown, while the Satin Black is BLACK...I thought it was pretty cool.

Lets just hope by pairing these two together in the future a miracle happens and I get a Super with a Normal Head...If I don't...I will have come to the conclusion that the "DuckBilling" is something that can't be avoided in the Supers...cause I think these two are pretty much as diverse a pair as one can get..."Crossing Fingers"

Will Black Pastel X Cinnamon make a normal-faced Super?

I've seen photos of a Super from this breeding.
And I've seen people on another forum argue over whether or not it is deformed...

So, I guess it's a matter of opinion??

That being said...

The Super I saw was produced by The SnakeKeeper.
Using which lines of BPastel and Cinny, I'm not sure...

I'll wager a guess TSK didn't use an animal from the VPI Black Satin line since that line is still so new and relatively rare.

BTW, grrreat Mojave!
Mojave X BlackBack??
Don't seem to see too many Mojaves like that without the right pairing.

BB

PS: Shoot me an email if you'd like to see the two photos of the Super. One is a sideshot, and the other taken over top. Judge for yourself...

I would love to see pics, and I am also curious what line of Cinnamon and Black Pastel they used...Maybe I can e-mail TSK and find out...

Thanks...

The mojo I really like too, when I saw it I was like "DUDE...I gotta have that"..lol, Now I just need to find a Lesser or Butter Female to pair him up with in the future.
