A CARPET BOA??

RioBravoReptiles Aug 06, 2008 09:10 AM

.. Gotcha! . only a Boa on a carpet..
.

.
.. that is a old photo I scanned up of the grandma of this year's Iquitos redtail boas. I raised her from a small, skinny import to approximately 3-1/2 meters long..
.
So much about that snake impressed me; her looks, size, strength and temperament (not always that friendly) as well as the size and overall vigor of her offspring. She's gone now a couple of years .. But lives on in her kids and grandkids..
.

.

.
.. thanks for looking annd reading!

I can see what you liked about her!! I LOVE the dorsal markings between the blotches in the Peruvians. Her grand baby looks a lot like her as well. Thanks for sharing Gus.

she was very nice looking, so are the kids and grandkids, it's hard to imagine that one day that little guy could attain all that yellow color, very nice gus.
