ExecutiveReptiles Aug 06, 2008 02:47 PM

Pastels? Curious if anyone else works with them or has them?

That would be a great pairing, I was curious...From what I am understanding there are 2 lines of VPI Black Pastels right the "VPI Black Pastel" and the "VPI Satin Black Pastel"? is that correct?

Has there been anyone that has made a super with the VPI "Satin" Black Pastel? Are they compatable with say other Black Pastel lines or even Cinnamons? I am learnging some very interesting things...and I am trying to wrap my brain around it all...lol

So from your pairing you described...the "Graziani Pewter" x "VPI Satin Black Pastel"...you would expect to get a Patternless or Pastel "Patternless Black"...right? Has anyone proved that the VPI Satins are compatable with other lines?

Thanks for the reply...

and can't read a post correctly sometimes...missed the fact that you were referring to black satins.

I have a VPI black pastel not a black satin.

I don't know if the satins are compatible.....Tracy would be the one to ask!

I just have been e-mailing VPI back and forth, they patiently have been explaining the difference, Before this morning I have no idea there where two VPI Black Pastel Lines...I thought they where all "VPI Black Satin Pastels"....didn't know they had just a "Black Pastel" too...

So I get to take the Dumb title...lol

I had no idea VPI Black Satin Pastels had not really been worked with....or not crossed with other Black Pastel Lines before, So my plans for a "Super Patternless Black" might not even work...I guess I will have to see...

I am looking forward to seeing what a Super VPI Satin Black Pastel looks like....wonder if its the "Patternless Black"?
