Marking High Dollar Snakes

shannondalsoglio Aug 06, 2008 05:22 PM

I asked for help concerning marking expensive reptiles and the chance that AVID chips might work. I got some feedback saying that many of the subcaudal scales differ in many snakes. I used this and it is a great way to ID your snakes. I made detailed drawings of the tail underside of my Indigo and photograghed it. Even so I am still looking for info on where you might place such a chip in a large snake.///Thank you for the scale tip sir. Shannon

You might get in contact with Bob Clark. His site lists that he chips all his hybrids, so perhaps he can give you some advice.
