Just a trivial question

Do any of you actually use those self-refilling water bowls? I saw a really small one at Petsmart, and I'm thinking about buying it. (Six bucks for plastic seems like a lot though!) Do they work ok? Can the leos climb on them?

I use one of those for my bearded dragon, it seem to work very well as long as it is level. The one I have is too tall to fit in my rack with the leos, but I’m sure it would work fine in a larger cage. If it fits in your leo cage, I wouldn’t hesitate to use it, it may save you some time refilling water dishes. I doubt your leo could tip it over or climb on it unless it was nearly empty.
Make sure you clean it very well before placing it in your leo’s cage. I use ceramic dishes as water bowls for most of my leos. Let us know how it turns out, and good luck!

I use those refilling water bowls for my leos and beardies. They work pretty well. You need to still change water at least every other day or it gets a little rank. I find the crickets like to hide in and under them as well. It is quite humerous though to watch a lizard try to get a cricket from inside the water.
Overall, they are pretty slick. Shop around online - I got larger ones for $3 each.
