40 inch plus 4-5 yr old

I'll weigh in cause I'm logged in and no one has said anything yet:Femoral pores can be misleading, but that crease going down the center of the underside of the base of the tail leads me to guess male, but I'm no expert. BTW that is a huge picture.

You need to submit a smaller photo (640x480) and also a full body shot of the whole animal. KB

I would bet money that it's a male, the head size in proportion to the body is a good indicator.KB

would you say 500 is a good price for a very Tame animal this size.

It's not a steal, but you're not getting ripped off. It seems fair.
