Cricket problems

sbshortie Sep 04, 2003 02:53 AM

Hey everyone-

Sigh, I'm not even gonna promise pics anymore. I sleep, go to school, do homework, and work. It's kinda lame but at least I am busy. Anyhow, I'm not really liking the crickets I am ordering online. My very first shipment seemed cool and since then it seems like I have fewer and fewer crickets in every shipment and that more and more are arriving dead. Any suggestions of good companies or something?

Thanks
Becca

I have used reptilefood.com, and have been pleased with my orders. Get smaller sized, and keep them warm and feed them well. They will last a bit longer. If you get larger crickets, you will have to keep them a bit cooler so they don't die to quickly. Their lifespan is not too long.

I have been using reptilefood.com but I swear I am not getting anywhere near 500 crickets!

I count them all just to make sure they're not ripping me. You got to get up pretty early in the morning to fool me LOL...just kidding. I would take a few less than 500 for the money as opposed to paying 8-10 cents apiece at the local stores. I'm not saying it's right, but just send them an e-mail and say they screwed up your order. I'm sure they would try to make it right somehow.
