There is a few ways to make Paradigms, .

BASICALLYBOAS Aug 07, 2008 02:15 PM

.....and breeding Paradigm X 100% Het BW Caramel works just fine! :D

We had a nice litter of Paradigms & BW Caramels yesterday from breeding a Paradigm X 100% Het BW Caramel. I again was fortunate enough to get to see it from start to finish. This year we really wanted to see how the Paradigms would come out looking from different breeding combinations.
We have already done Paradigm X Sharp, Paradigm X Het Sharp, Paradigm X DH Sharp Sunglow, Paradigm X Paradigm, Jungle Het Caramel X Paradigm and now Paradigm X Het BW Caramel.

There is a nice variation to the look of the Paradigms & BW Caramels depending on what they were produced from. Jeff Ronne also bred Pastel Het BW Caramel X Het Sharp and got a few really nice looking Paradigms. I can say that all the mentioned breedings produced great looking Paradigms. I am still waiting on a litter from DH Sharp Sunglow X Het BW Caramel to see how the Paradigms come out, plus hoping to hit on a Paraglow this time.

Anyhow, here are some pics from the litter.

They all came out still in their sacks.

Great close up.

A comparison shot of a Paradigm & BW Caramel.

After they all were cleaned up!

Thanks for looking!

Beautiful pictures Mike ! They are all just amazing. Really love looking at baby BW Caramels.
I wonder how much they will or can be cleaned up and or lighted up.
These appear very light.

Way to go!

Normals, paradigms, and BW caramels. Just what I would expect from this mating. Do you have numbers for each category? I counted eight normals, but I may have missed one or two. The paradigms and BW caramels are harder to count.

very close to predictable outcomes....

24 total babies...

1/2 should have been parahets = 12, actual was 11

1/4 should have been Paradigms = 6, actual was 7

1/4 should have been BW Caramels = 6, actual was 6

Congrats on a wonderful litter!!!!
