Mixed bag...Pleased with the most hypo individual though. The close-up is of its head. A second clutch by the same pair is pending. It will be interesting to see how the results compare.

AWESOME!
Looks better than my male in the pic below!
Congrats,

Thanks Rusty. Your male there is dazzling! What strikes me most about Hondos is the vast variation of color and patterns in the species. As a postscript and example, this pic is of the "runt" of this clutch, and I'm not sure what to call its color/pattern. Incidently, this animal was a real reluctant hatch. Hope it makes it thru shedding and first feeding...
I wish I could be more positive...but I would get too upset if that little one doesn't thrive.
I had one very similar...and it only grew about 3 inches in 2 years...it always had trouble eating and shedding...and ultimately it passed away.
I agree with you 100% about Hondos...that's why I find them so interesting...eat well, grow large, easy to breed, and morphs that are still being uncovered.
The pattern is really neat...Terry M. produced something very similar this year...and I think he posted it a few weeks ago.
Thanks for posting!
