Going Hog WILD!

Jeff Favelle Aug 08, 2008 02:40 AM

Definitely was a great site to have after a long day. It means more "work", but damn, I wouldn't want it any other way!

Hog x Hog (bought originally as "Sears line".

As a bonus, I got to "hatch" another one in my hand!!! Picked this little gem up and it poked right through the membrane just in time for me to snap a pic!!!! :D

Got the mess of them into their holding bin for cleanup and sexing. 31 babies in total, no kinks, no slugs, no stillborns, just a lot of babies and even more GOOP! Largest litter of Hogs I have ever had. By a long-shot!

Holy crap!!! I've never heard of a hog having that many in a litter before. I was not even aware they could have that many in a single litter.
I came home yesterday to what I thought was a fairly large litter of about 17 or 18(I've not gotten a accurate count yet).
