Lucky again with Sharp snow!

Tracy Barker Aug 08, 2008 11:20 AM

Boy am I thrilled, as I got another female snow to add to the 1.1 we produced earlier!! This was a little nerve wracking as the female had the babies when we were away! By the time I saw them they were in this neat little pile and already going opaque! After a long year we finally scheduled our "week" vacation and I thought she was having the babies two weeks from our return date! oops-glad they all were ok!

Congrats on the Sharp Snow, looks pretty sharp to me!!!

Funny how we worry ahen we're not there and the babies seam to do just fine without us!! Almost like they have been doing for millenia on their own.

I had a similar situation last week, was gone on a week vacation and three litters of BRB's dropped while I was gone. One looked like it dropped right after I walked out the door, that cage was pretty rank by the time I got home BUT, all the babies were just fine, snuggled in the same moss hide boxes as their moms.

Congrats!!

I had a Motley litter born early and while I was at work!! I was'nt as fortunate, the mother smothered 3 out of 6 of the Motley's and 4 normals!! I was fortunate to have saved 3 Motleys and 3 commons out of that litter though... Congrats again, glad to hear you were so lucky!!
