Quote from my daughter (and general description of Erowen in her Dome)

ecb Sep 04, 2003 06:11 AM

"mom, she looks so happy"
she does too, hanging off the side of a branch, sleeping, her colors downright pale.
just ate 8 superworms for dinner, and is gonna have up to 3 large nightcrawlers for breakfast
SHe seems to LOVE the superworms, more than the mealworms

With the new stick in there, and how I had to rearainge the tanks branches (I had to take out my one from my garden) it seems to be all branches, LOTS of stuff to climb on
one stick she never would climb out on the skinny part of it before, now she sometimes sleeps on it (it is proped into the corner of the glass now) the other actually has branches that go up, then flatten out for her to lay on (if she wants) one is just below the red light, and there are 3 more along another branch, each a little higher than the one before it and a bit more over the water

I can see some of the houdini worms in the dirt as they creap through the dirt along the glass of the tank

The fish are doing well, it seems that they are guppies, sold as feeders, and growing fancy tails under Erowens atentive care

Well time for me to get back to work

and it's always nice to see the dragons when they "look happy"!

I just with I always had a camera handy when I see one of those Kodak moments! This morning I was looking in on my babies and there were 2 of them hugging. Now, I have seen 2 hanging onto the same spot on a stem from opposite sides of the stem, and I have seen one on top of the other so that it looked like there was only one dragon, but this was different. Both of these tiny babies was hanging on to the stem with their back legs but the front legs of both were holding on to the other baby so that they were supporting each other belly to belly! It truly looked as if they were hugging! And, my digital was at the store and I’ll probably never see that pose again!
